The Core Program

Our athlete development program that is part of the Canada Snowboard Riders program. Coaches are trained and certified through Canada Snowboard and the Canadian Association of Coaches to provide the best all around development for both aspiring freestyle and speed athletes over a 10 week program. The program runs from 9:30-3:00 pm with a supervised lunch, culminating with a Canada Snowboard Riders event.
Participants will be introduced to discipline focused snowboard skills, enabling them to take their snowboarding anywhere on the mountain. There will be an introduction to athlete skills and knowledge around goal setting, dynamic warm ups, recovery and nutrition.

The Transition Freestyle Program

The Transition Freestyle program takes athletes from our Core program and those who might have been on a self discovery tour on freestyle through next steps in setting up for personal success in competition and media.
Athlete will develop freestyle specific skills in the slope-style discipline. Athletes will spend a majority of time in the park, with time spent free-riding as well. We recommend athletes be at least 13 prior to signing up, and have a minimum ability of 360's on medium to large jumps. Participants can expect to compete in local events and travel for provincial events. Athlete skill development includes ideal performance state, visualization, long and short term goal setting. Athletes interested in pre-season training should contact us to work with our good friends at Spring Action.
For 2018 The transition program there are three options :
Saturdays from 9:30-3:00
Tuesday/Thursday evenings from 7:00pm-9:00pm
Tuesday/Thursday Evenings and Saturday Day times

Step-Up Speed Program

The Step-Up program is for athletes interested in developing Snowboardcross specific skills and who are interested in racing in provincial level events in Ontario and Quebec - with a goal of making nationals in their age group.
Athlete will spend time free-riding, race training and time in the park working on freestyle skills as well as SBX skills. Integrated into the program will be visualization, ideal performance state training, strength and conditioning, focus and goal setting.
2018 Programs are one weekend day and one evening night with the schedule being:
Tuesday Nights at Pakenham: 6:30-8:30 or
Wednesday Nights at Camp Fortune: 7:00pm-9:00pm
Saturdays Camp Fortune 9:30am-3:00pm or
Sundays: Calabogie 9:30-3:00pm
